Ransomware Readiness

The policies, tools, and practices that prepare an organization to prevent or survive a ransomware attack.

Also known as ransomware preparedness anti-ransomware

Ransomware readiness encompasses the people, processes, and technology needed to prevent, detect, and recover from ransomware attacks. Key elements include backup strategies, incident response plans, access controls, and early warning systems for initial access.

Because infostealer infections are a leading ransomware precursor, readiness programs should include continuous stealer log monitoring. Removing exposed credentials and revoking compromised sessions closes the most common entry path ransomware affiliates use.
