How scoring works
Each vendor is scored 0–10 on nine criteria. Weights add up to 100%, giving an overall score out of 100.
Infostealer Specialization
15%How much of the product is actually about infostealers: a dedicated stealer-log dataset scores high, a credential feature inside a wider suite scores lower.
Machine-Level Infection Context
15%Whether you can see the infected computer behind each credential: malware family, infection date, OS, IP, antivirus, file path and everything else taken from that machine.
Exposure Segmentation
12%Whether you can see who is affected (staff, customers or suppliers) and which websites the stolen logins belong to, so every team can act on its own slice.
Session Cookie & Token Coverage
10%Coverage of stolen session cookies and tokens, the data attackers use to skip MFA and take over accounts.
Collection Freshness
10%How fast newly stolen data is collected from criminal sources and becomes searchable.
Infostealer Research & Attribution
10%Original public research into infostealer campaigns and the breaches they lead to.
Free Tools & Free API
10%Whether you can test the data for free, through public lookups, a free API key or a free account.
API & Integrations
10%How well the data plugs into other tools: APIs, SIEM and SOAR, and identity providers.
Pricing Accessibility & Time-to-Value
8%How quickly a team gets value: self-serve setup, clear packaging and a fit for different company sizes.
Questions & answers
Who publishes this index?
The Infostealer Index is produced by Hudson Rock, the research team behind InfoStealers, and Hudson Rock is one of the vendors it ranks. The scores are Hudson Rock's editorial assessment of public information about each product. We show the same ranks and scores as the original on hudsonrock.com, with our own profiles and analysis.
What does the overall score measure?
Only infostealer intelligence: how well a product helps you find and act on credentials, cookies and machine data stolen by infostealer malware. Each vendor gets 0–10 on nine criteria, and the weighted total is scaled to 100. It does not rate a vendor's wider security products.
Which vendors score highest?
The top four are Hudson Rock (96.2), Flare (82.8), SpyCloud (81.3) and Breachsense (70.4). The median vendor scores 48.5.
What is the difference between a specialist and a CTI platform?
Specialists (9 in the index) build their product around stolen-credential and stealer-log data. Broad CTI platforms include stealer data as one feed among dark web, brand and attack-surface monitoring. Lookup services are search tools for querying leak data on demand.
Can a vendor ask for a correction?
Yes. Scores reflect public information as of October 12, 2026. Vendors can request a review through Hudson Rock's contact page.
See your own infostealer exposure
Rankings only go so far. Look up your domain for free and see which employees, customers and suppliers have already been hit by infostealers.
Scores are Hudson Rock's editorial opinion of each vendor's infostealer intelligence, based on public information (websites, documentation and published research) as of October 12, 2026. Only infostealer-related capabilities are assessed, not a vendor's overall quality or other products. Field averages, peer matches and comparisons are calculated from those scores.
This is general information, not a recommendation to buy or avoid any product, and it may be out of date: confirm details with each vendor. Product names and logos belong to their owners and are used only to identify them. Vendors can request a correction through Hudson Rock's contact page.
