Credential stuffing is an attack technique where criminals use automated tools to test stolen username and password combinations across multiple websites and applications. Because people reuse passwords, a credential pair stolen from a gaming forum might unlock a corporate SaaS account or banking portal.
Infostealer logs make credential stuffing far more dangerous. Instead of guessing reused passwords, attackers start with exact credentials and valid session cookies harvested from the victim's own browser. This produces higher success rates and makes attacks harder to distinguish from legitimate logins.
